Purchases
Please choose carefully.
We allow exchanges or returns within 3 days of purchase, provided:
- The merchandise is in its original, unused, and saleable condition
- Original undamaged packaging is included
- You have a valid receipt
Return of non-packaged items will be considered at Management's discretion.
Please note: For hygiene reasons, we do not refund or exchange the following items:
- Continence products
- Toileting, bathroom, and personal hygiene products and equipment
- Clothing
- Lifter recliner chairs
Hire Equipment – Terms & Conditions
General Conditions
All hired equipment, including wheelchairs, remains the property of the Disabled Persons Centre Trust (DPCT) trading as Aspire Canterbury and must be returned on the expiry date of the hire agreement.
Payment
The hirer is responsible for the full rental fee, which must be paid upon collection of the equipment.
Extension of Hire Period
If you need to extend the hire period, you must contact Aspire Canterbury at 03 366 6189 or 03 366 9093 to confirm equipment availability, as prior bookings may exist.
Maintenance & Care
Aspire Canterbury is responsible for the usual maintenance of the equipment. However, the hirer is responsible for the care of the equipment during use.
Responsibility & Liability
- All equipment is used at the client’s own risk. It must only be used as intended and following any guidelines or instructions provided by Aspire Canterbury.
- Aspire Canterbury is not responsible or liable for any injuries sustained during equipment use.
- Insurance: The equipment is not covered by Aspire Canterbury’s insurance during the hire period. The client must ensure that their own insurance policies cover the equipment if required.
- The client is liable for all loss or damage not covered by their insurance, including any insurance excess.
- The client indemnifies Aspire Canterbury for all damage to the equipment and any consequent liability incurred while it is in their care.
